“Child Marriage Free India” Legal Awareness Workshop Held at Kudmul Rangarao Town Hall, Hampankatta, Mangaluru.
The programme focused on creating awareness about the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, protecting children’s rights, and building a society free from child marriage through collective responsibility and legal awareness.

The Prohibition of Child Marriage Awareness Programme was successfully organised at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan, Mandya, under the guidance of the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA) and District Legal Services Authority, Mandya.
The programme was inaugurated by Hon’ble District Judge Sri H. Shashidhara Shetty, in the presence of senior judicial officers, district administration, police department, women and child welfare department, education department, advocates association, and other concerned departments.
The programme aimed to create awareness about the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, the legal consequences of child marriage, and the importance of protecting children’s rights and future. The initiative reinforces the collective responsibility of society to prevent child marriage and to ensure the education, safety, and well-being of every child.We appreciate the efforts of all departments and stakeholders in spreading awareness and strengthening child protection mechanisms in the district.

A comprehensive Legal Awareness and Outreach Programme was organised at Karwar under the guidance of Karnataka State Legal Services Authority with the participation of the judiciary, legal experts, and multiple government departments.
The programme focused on critical laws such as the Forest Rights Act, POCSO Act, child protection laws, and welfare legislation.
Several on-the-spot services, including legal aid, Aadhaar, labour registration, and health services, were also provided, reaffirming KSLSA’s commitment to inclusive justice.

The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, in association with the District Legal Services Authority, Chitradurga, successfully organised the Inaugural Ceremony and Workshop for Chairpersons and Member Secretaries of DLSAs at Chitradurga
The programme was inaugurated by Hon’ble Smt. Justice Anu Sivaraman, Executive Chairperson, KSLSA, in the august presence of Hon’ble Judges of the High Court of Karnataka.
The workshop aimed at strengthening coordination, improving service delivery, and enhancing access to justice at the grassroots level.

Justice on Wheels .Nyaya Ratha sets out to deliver legal aid and awareness at the doorstep of the people.
Hon’ble Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru flagged off the “Nyaya Ratha”, a legal services clinic on wheels, at the High Court premises, Bengaluru, on December 19, 2025.The initiative aims to provide free legal services and legal awareness to the public, ensuring access to justice reaches every section of society.
The event was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Judges of the Karnataka High Court, Executive Chairman of the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority Mrs. Anu Sivaraman, Director of M.S. The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA), in association with DLSA Udupi, District Administration Udupi, Advocates’ Association Kundapura, Grama Panchayat Keradi, Vaikunta Baliga College of Law (Udupi) and Varasiddi Vinayaka College (Keradi), successfully organised the programme “Empowering Rural Communities: Know Your Rights and Schemes” at Keradi Village on 06 December 2025.
