A new journey of learning, service and social responsibility begins as the Legal Services Clinic welcomes students of the 5-Year Integrated Law Courses and 3-Year LL.B. Degree Course.
The programme was held on 8th September 2026 at 10:00 AM at Shashwathi Auditorium, MKPM RVILS Campus, Bengaluru.
The programme featured Shri. H. Shashidhara Shetty, District Judge & Member Secretary, Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, Bengaluru, as the Guest Speaker.

The Independence Day celebration at the Karnataka State Legal Services Authority reflected the values of justice, equality, and national unity. The event brought together officers, staff members, and representatives of the Mediation Centre to honor the nation’s journey and renew their commitment to serving the people.
Honouring our elders with dignity, care, and justice.
The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, Bengaluru, in association with the District Legal Services Authority, Mandya, District Administration, Health Department, Women & Child Development Department, and other stakeholders, organized a Legal Awareness Programme and Free Health Check-up Camp for senior citizens.
The programme educated participants about legal aid services, the rights and welfare of senior citizens, and government support schemes. A free health check-up camp was also conducted to promote the health and well-being of elderly citizens. This initiative reflects KSLSA’s commitment to ensuring access to justice, legal empowerment, and a dignified life for every senior citizen.
Two-Day Training Programme for Support Persons – North Zone, Karnataka
Strengthening child protection through knowledge, collaboration, and capacity building.
The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, in association with the District Legal Services Authority, Dharwad, Directorate of Child Protection, and NYAAYA (NGO), successfully organized a Two-Day Training Programme for Support Persons (North Zone).
The programme brought together support persons, legal professionals, and stakeholders to enhance their understanding of child-centric legal procedures under the POCSO Act, ensuring effective support and rehabilitation for child victims. Together, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting children’s rights and ensuring access to justice with dignity and compassion.
Inauguration of the Newly Established District Legal Services Authority, Vijayanagara
A significant milestone in strengthening access to justice was marked with the inauguration of the newly established District Legal Services Authority, Vijayanagara. The event was graced by Hon’ble Judges, dignitaries, and officials, reaffirming the commitment to providing free and effective legal services to all sections of society.
Together, we move forward in ensuring Justice for All.
5th Zonal Workshop – Kalaburagi Zone
The Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, in association with Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi and Law Colleges under the Kalaburagi Zone, successfully organized the 5th Zonal Workshop on the theme:
“From Classroom to Courtroom: Law Students as Catalysts for Social Justice.”
The workshop was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Justice Vibhu Bakhru, Chief Justice, High Court of Karnataka & Patron-in-Chief, KSLSA, in the august presence of Hon’ble Smt. Justice Anu Sivaraman, Executive Chairperson, KSLSA, along with other distinguished dignitaries.
The workshop aimed to inspire law students to actively participate in legal aid, legal awareness, legal services clinics, and access to justice initiatives, thereby strengthening the commitment to social justice and community service.
Together, let us nurture the next generation of legal professionals dedicated to ensuring “Access to Justice for All.”
International Day of Yoga 2026
The High Court of Karnataka and Karnataka State Legal Services Authority, in association with Water for Voiceless (WFV) and Parivarthana Foundation, successfully observed International Day of Yoga 2026 with the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”
The programme emphasized the importance of yoga in promoting physical well-being, mental wellness, and healthy ageing. Participants enthusiastically joined the yoga session and gained valuable insights on adopting a healthier lifestyle through regular yoga practice.
